Association of Tourism Training Institutes of Malaysia (ATTIM) is a professional organization that is the unifying representative body for all tourism and hospitality skills training institutions and organisations in the country at national and international levels. ATTIM aims to enhance and maintain the quality of tourism and hospitality skills training in the private sector.

This non-profit association was founded in 2008 and now has more than 30 institutional members which are licensed as Tourism Training Institutes under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia and accredited centre of Department of Skills Development

strives to:
  • To support the Government’s tourism and hospitality skills training projects and training competent workforce require for nation building.
  • To provide research facilities, training, promotion of the Government’s skills training programs for the members of the Association.
  • To provide tourism and hospitality National Occupational Skills Standards information and services to the members.
  • To provide skills training information and service to the members.
  • To maintain a register of all tourism and hospitality skills training institutions in Malaysia.
ATTIM is a supportive network of institutions and individuals who share ideas, enthusiasm, and solutions to develop and enhance talents and human capital for the Malaysian tourism industry.


Message from President

Malaysia is one of the world’s top tourism destinations. Currently, Malaysia received more than 24 million international visitors who come for leisure, business, education and healthcare.

Malaysia’s tourism industry is very dynamic. It contributes to Malaysia’s economy and creates thousands of jobs in various sectors. The industry will experience growth brought about by the new initiatives under the National Key Economic Area (NKEA).

ATTIM was formed as a platform for Malaysia’s tourism training institutes to collaborate and support each other and the Ministry of Tourism to create and enhance quality tourism talents and human resources to support the growth of Malaysia’s tourism industry.

We invite all Malaysia’s tourism training institutes, organizations or individuals to join us and together we train and prepare tourism talents and human resources for this flourishing industry.
